Poco più di 100 titoli da vedere gratuitamente su Youtube. In tutta la loro interezza. La Paramount Pictures ha pochi giorni fa dato vita al canale Youtube The Paramount Vault, in cui sfogliare uno straordinario catalogo di classici dello studios, in grado di spaziare tra i generi e i decenni. Titoli ovviamente in lingua originale e in molti casi anche particolarmente famosi, basti pensare a The Reckoning, The Stooge e Masters of the Universe, per non parlare di Bound, Margot At the Wedding di Baumbach, Love Streams di John Cassavetes, Daisy Miller di Peter Bogdanovich, Non aprite quella porta – Parte 2 e Ironweed con Jack Nicholson e Meryl Streep.

Streaming gratuito per abbattere la pirateria. Un esperimento che altri studios hollywoodiani potrebbero seguire, caricando on line film magari poco conosciuti o perché no, banalmente da rivalutare e riscoprire. Nell’attesa delle eventuali mosse altrui, in casa Paramount hanno deciso di ‘osare’, cavalcando con astuzia le potenzialità della fruzione cinematografica 2.0. Peccato che la visione del tutto, al momento, sia limitata al solo territorio statunitense. Peccato davvero.
