Tra gli script non originali, The Irishman, Little Women, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, JoJo Rabbit e Joker.
Lo scorso anno vinsero Eighth Grade e Can You Ever Forgive Me?, nessuno dei due poi premio Oscar (andati a Green Book e BlacKkKlansman).
