Sono stati assegnati venerdì sera i Golden Trailer Awards 2013, i riconoscimenti conferiti al miglior materiale promozionale (video e locandine) dell’anno. Trionfa la Disney grazie ad Iron Man 3 (miglior trailer blockbuster estate 2013), Ralph Spaccatutto (miglior trailer film d’animazione), Monster University (trailer più originale e miglior spot d’animazione), Brave (spot tv più originale) e The Avengers (miglior trailer di film di maggior successo). Bene Skyfall (miglior trailer d’azione e miglior sonoro), Argo (miglior trailer drammatico), Una notte da leoni 3 (miglior trailer di una commedia), Silver Linings Playbook (miglior trailer di film romantico) e Fast and Furious 6 (miglior spot tv di film d’azione).
Il trailer più trash dell’anno è risultato quello di Spring Breakers, mentre nella categoria Golden Fleece Award, destinata al video promozionale più bello del film, ha vinto la commedia indipendente Hit & Run.
