Golden Globe 2013: nomination e considerazioni finali

La conferma di Steven Spielberg. Il boom di Quentin Tarantino. La scarsa considerazione nei confronti di Anna Karenina. La dimenticanza The Dark Knight Rises. Il pericolo Zero Dark Thirty. La sorpresa Salmon Fishing In The Yemen. Il mancato dominio di Les Miserables. La forza di Argo e Silver Lining Playbook. E soprattutto la scandalosa assenza di Jean-Louis Trintignant ed Emmanuelle Riva tra i migliori attori. Come sempre accade da anni, anche in questa settantesima edizione i Golden Globes hanno regalato ‘fuochi d’artificio’, tanto in positivo quanto in negativo.

Rachel Weisz e Naomi Watts hanno letteralmente scippato il posto alla magnifica protagonista di Amour, mentre si fa sentire il ‘niet’ a Russell Crowe per Les Miserables. Rimanendo in tema musical, niente nomination per Tom Hooper, sempre più in fase calante in previsione Oscar, con il mito John Williams che si porta a casa l’ennesima candidatura di una carriera irripetibile. Peccato che qui, tra le colonne sonore originali, manchi Hans Zimmer. Italia a bocca asciutta con i fratelli Taviani, con Amour trionfatore annunciato e Quasi Amici inserito a forza dopo il boom di incassi in tutto il mondo.

Piacevoli e inattese le nomination a Richard Gere, Maggie Smith, Bill Murray e Jack Black, con Meryl Streep candidata per ‘legge’. Ancora una volta. Bocciatura sul filo di lana per Elisa ed Ennio Morricone, in corsa grazie a Quentin Tarantino ed esclusi dalla cinquina finale, mentre fa rumore il dimenticato Cloud Atlas, flop in sala e anche sul campo premiazioni. Al solito, la divisione tra commedie/musical e drama regala spesso e volentieri promozioni folli, e immeritate, anche se in questo caso, come scritto, sono proprio due assenze inimmaginabili a scatenare imbarazzo. Quelle di due anziani innamorati, che hanno commosso prima Cannes, e dopo il mondo intero. Vergogna.
