Sam Raimi è un regista, produttore e sceneggiatore americano, nato il 23 ottobre 1959 a Royal Oak, Michigan. È celebre per aver creato la serie di film horror “La casa” (The Evil Dead) negli anni ’80, che è diventata un cult del genere. Raimi è noto anche per la sua regia della trilogia di “Spider-Man” (2002-2007) con Tobey Maguire. Il suo stile distintivo, che combina horror e umorismo, ha influenzato molti altri film e registi. Raimi continua a essere una figura influente nel cinema, sia nel genere horror che in quello dei supereroi.
