PGA 2015 e ADG 2015, le nomination dei produttori e scenografi d’America
Unbroken di Angelina Jolie fatto fuori dalle nomination dei Producers Guild of America
Prosegue incessante e senza sosta la stagione dei premi cinematografici, in attesa della premiazione dei Golden Globes e delle nomination agli Oscar. Anche i produttori e gli scenografi d’America hanno infatti partorito le proprie candidature per l’edizione 2015, con Producers Guild of America (PGA) e Art Directors Guild (ADG) in prima fila.
Nel primo caso occhio a titoli che in molti sottovalutano come American Sniper e Lo Sciacallo – Nightcrawler, da affiancare agli ‘scontati’ Boyhood, Birdman, The Imitation Game, Whiplash e La Teoria del Tutto. Conferme importanti anche per Gone Girl, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Whiplash e Foxcatcher. Tra i grandi assenti si nota Unbroken della Jolie, con la Universal fuori dai giochi. 2 candidature a testa, invece, per Sony Pictures Classics e Fox Searchlight. Sono ben 5 anni che chi vince il PGA poi vince l’Oscar più ambito. The Hurt Locker, Il Discorso del Re, The Artist, Argo e 12 anni Schiavo. Tra i film animati, invece, poche sorprese.
Per quanto riguarda gli “Art Directors Guild Awards”, prestigioso riconoscimento che premia l’eccellenza nella scenografia cinematografica e televisiva, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Into the Woods e Birdman sono i 3 favoriti nelle 3 categorie in corsa. Ovvero i film con ambientazione d’epoca, quelli con ambientazione fantasy/fantascientifica e quelli con ambientazione contemporanea. 2 volte, negli ultimi 4 anni, chi ha vinto l’ADG ha poi vinto l’Oscar, con Hugo nel 2012 e Il grande Gatsby lo scorso anno. A voi tutte le nomination.
